A few edits of last nights 96% illuminated moon
Last nights moon. Also swipe for a re-edit of the moon from two nights ago, Saturn and a video of Jupiter too.
Here’s a single shot of tonight’s moon. Waxing Gibbous 86.2% illuminated.
I promise that the moon was actually this yellow when I took the pic. The video white Balance’s when I focus lock. The first video is a hand tracked close up at 270x with my new 7.5mm eyepiece. The other videos are of the slow moving clouds that I waited to clear so I could fire off a bunch of shots. The images are a stack of 20 that I burst shot while the moon was clear of clouds and then just edited 3 different ways. “Natural”, toned down saturation and mineral
My view of Jupiter was buzzed by a plane the other night
Day and night once again. These images are from Monday 07/08/19. Afternoon moon and night moon.
Happy Saturn Opposition. Tonight was the first night I used my SV105 imaging camera instead of my phone. I used a focal reducer but maybe I shouldn’t have. Saturn and Jupiter at 135x. Processed in #PIPP and #RegiStax . Finished on my iphone7 in #Snapseed . Also a pic of the setting moon, from my phone. It was actually this color and very hazy
The Great Red Spot on Jupiter and Saturn. I had decent seeing last night. My images don’t entirely reflect it though. I think I need to back off on the magnification. Been pushing the theoretical limit and getting mushy results. Or maybe just start using a Planetary Imaging Camera instead of my iPhone 7. Lol. Videos recorded in 4K on #nightcap camera app and processed in #PIPP and #RegiStax . I don’t remember how many frames on each
Getting closer. Yesterday’s moon at a slight zoom and some video footage
A bee on a weed
A tale of two moons. One shot from the afternoon and one shot in the night
The spam calls are strong today.
Quickie from yesterday. I’ve wanted to do something here for years now. It’s nothing special, just a little fun
Nothing like new wood. It’s been a while since I set a new board up. Maybe two years? Lol used to be at least every two weeks sometimes two days or two hours. At least I get to ride my friends boards @rodneytorresnyc @torronyc. Thanks for the boards @ginoiannuccipoets. This Torro board is the first board I had actually purchased in over 20years. Lol thank you @bodegaskateboards and thank you skateboarding
Here is Jupiter with Io from last night around 23:30 and Saturn too from just before that. I’m getting s little better at these iPhone captures. Video taken through my @explorescientific 127 mak at 211x magnification. Processed in #PIPP and #RegiStax the finished on my iPhone in #Snapseed
Same old song and dance
